  My Favorite Podcasts
I've had my iPod for over 6 months now, and I'm really in love with the concept of Podcasts, here are my favorites that I listen to regularly.

Point of Inquiry (http://www.pointofinquiry.org)
Weekly podcast produced by the Centre for Inquiry, a thinktank focusing on the research areas of Pseudo Science and the Paranormal, Alternative Medicine and Secularism & Religion, promoting skeptical thinking in ALL areas of human endeavor...

Best of Ideas (http://www.cbc.ca/ideas/)
CBC produced show, features philosopher's discussing a variety of topics, always very educational and thought-provoking

Five Live 606 Football Phone In (http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/programmes/606.shtml)
A football (soccer) phone-in show from the UK, features football fans calling in after the day's matches discussing results, their thoughts about team selection, etc, etc...

Sportsweek (http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/programmes/sportsweek.shtml)
Another UK sports show, mostly about football, it's weekly, has VERY good guests, good insight about the top issues in Football.

Diggnation (Video Podcast) (http://www.diggnation.org/)
Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht from Digg.com discuss some of the most popular / their favorite stories from digg.com - irreverent and geeky, it's a great show...

Quirks & Quarks (http://www.cbc.ca/quirks/)
Another CBC podcast, this one is all about science, very interesting, normally follows a Q&A type format, callers call in with interesting science-related questions, and host Bob McDonald hunts down an appropriate scientist to answer them, also covers science-related news, again educational and entertaining.

CNET Buzz Out Loud (http://www.cnet.com/4520-11455-6333605.html)
I'm not too wild about this one, because it's american, and the 3 hosts are American, but they do cover important and interesting tech stories, it's daily...

So there you go... Lots of interesting stuff, and it's better than listening to the Dean Blundell show all the time...

I think a lot. Some people say I think too much... However, I don't want to be seen as being aloof or pretentious, it's just that I really enjoy philosophical questions and deep thoughts. That's not to say that I don't find pleasure in more down-to-earth or trivial things, like beer and soccer :) I'm happily married with 3 wonderful children. I'm a partner in a technology services company based in Toronto. Myers Briggs says I'm an ENTJ
