  Ongoing History of New Music
If you don't know - Edge 102.1 is Toronto's "Alternative Rock" station, it's the station I've listened to since high-school...

There's a great show called the Ongoing History of New Music, hosted by Alan Cross. A neat story about Alan Cross, he used to DJ along with a guy named Nicolas Picolas at a little club called La Vie where Arlene and I met...

Anyhow, I always enjoy listening to the show, which chronicles various elements of Alternative music, specific bands or sub-genres... but a lot of times I'd miss it, I'm doing something else Sunday nights at 7:00pm, I just found that the shows are available to listen to via their website... It unfortunately hasn't been turned into a podcast, but you can still listen to it with their built-in Flash player which is really cool...

  I'm shrinking...
Latest weight-in has me at 218... So I'm down another 3 or 4 pounds... Feeling good, pants are a little roomier! :)

ExpressVu w/ PVR is the Shiz!

We switched from Rogers Digital Cable to Bell ExpressVu a few weeks ago. So far, so good, quite happy with the quality of the picture, and even more so with the equipment.

We're renting the PVR System (Model 5920), which lets you pause/rewind live TV as well as set automatic recording via the program guide. It's not a brand new technology, and certainly not a new concept, but it's REALLY GREAT to actually have it! It makes TV much more manageable as you can simple clickety-click and tape something and then watch it whenever you want without having to fuss around with Video tapes...

Bell have an offer on at the moment where you rent the PVR for free for a year! World Cup is coming, lots of matches during the day!

I think a lot. Some people say I think too much... However, I don't want to be seen as being aloof or pretentious, it's just that I really enjoy philosophical questions and deep thoughts. That's not to say that I don't find pleasure in more down-to-earth or trivial things, like beer and soccer :) I'm happily married with 3 wonderful children. I'm a partner in a technology services company based in Toronto. Myers Briggs says I'm an ENTJ
